SilverForge LLC

Software for the operators nobody built software for.

Plenty of industries run on clipboards, group texts and a spreadsheet somebody's cousin made in 2019 — not because the operators like it, but because the real platforms were priced and built for companies ten times their size. We build for the ones underneath that line.

What we build

Two products, one idea

Both start from the same place: the work already happens: someone is already writing it down. The software's job is to catch it once, keep it straight, and hand it back as proof.

In beta

SilverCommand

Security guard operations

Scheduling, shift and post management, incident and daily-activity reports with photo evidence, alarm dispatch with real response times, and a portal your clients log into themselves. Built so an alarm, the officer sent to it, the report filed about it and the client's copy are one unbroken chain — not four systems that have to be reconciled on Monday.

  • Alarm to documented resolution, timestamped end to end
  • Client portal with downloadable PDF reports
  • Clock-in / clock-out and checkpoint patrols; GPS verification and native officer app on the roadmap
In development

SilverNexus

Business operations

The back office for a small operating company: clients, contracts, invoicing, documents and the reporting that ties them together. We are building it because we needed it ourselves — SilverForge runs on it, which means every rough edge is one we have to live with before anyone else does.

  • Client, contract and invoice records in one place
  • Runs our own company first

How we work

Four things we decided early

Your data is yours

We don't sell it, we don't share it with brokers, and we don't train models on your reports. You can export everything, any time, and take it with you if you leave.

Separation by default

Every record is scoped to its company at the database level, and access to anything else is denied before it is filtered. Evidence files sit outside any public directory — there is no public URL for a report photo.

Records that hold up

A report written in our software may end up in an insurance claim or a deposition. It gets a timestamp, an author, an audit trail, and a PDF that looks like it belongs in a file — because one day it will be in one.

You reach a person

Small enough that the person who answers your email is the person who wrote the code. That will not scale forever, and while it does, you get the benefit of it.

About

Dayton, Ohio

SilverForge is a registered Ohio LLC, formed in March 2026. It is small on purpose and honest about it.

The company exists because of a pattern that shows up everywhere once you notice it: an operator is doing real, accountable work, and the record of that work is a stack of paper in a truck. Not because they don't care about the record — they care enormously, it's what they get paid for — but because every tool built to fix it was priced for an enterprise and shaped like one.

So the work here is narrow by design. Pick an operation that runs on paper. Learn how it actually runs, not how a product manager assumes it runs. Build the thing that catches the record the first time, and hands it back as proof.

Software for small operators shouldn't feel like enterprise software with features taken away. It should feel like it was built for them in the first place.
